FOSTER needed for Black Lab male

Hello! In need of a temporary foster care for my beloved black Labrador retriever. He is very friendly and sweet and cuddly, sleeps solid through the night and loves to play fetch! He has high energy outdoors but very mellow inside. He’d prefer to be with a human whenever possible and doesn’t like to be alone unless by himself in a room with his bed. I am starting a new career Monday and will be working 12 hour shifts out of town my first week, plus 30 minute commute, and do not want him to be neglected as I figure out a schedule that works and a means for him to not be alone at home and relieve himself on his own as he currently doesn’t have yard access without a human helping him go out. This would ideally be just for December and January as I plan to rent a home closer to my work asap. If you would like to have a sweet dog in your home for the holidays that will provide endless joy and fun, without the commitment of foster care or adopting, let me know! He is not aggressive whatsoever, does not know how to be mean and gets along with family members of all ages. He likes other dogs even smaller dogs, tends to ignore them, and will try to play with cats but they will usually demand their space right away and he will back off. This will really help us both out as I am able to transition into this new career path and not worry about him being alone or stressed, and having to rush home to let him out. As much as I will miss sleeping with him intermittently, with these hours I will only be going home to sleep and will only have free time for playing on days off. Please let me know if you’d be willing to take him in, he is very adaptable and has been babysat by my aunt before with no issues he just needs love and attention and company. He is 6 now and sleeps a lot more than he used to, very low maintenance dog just needs his 2 meals and fresh water. He does not ever chew or destroy things but he does like balls and toys around to play with when he’s alone. He will bring clothes left out into his bed as well so essential to hide those from him accessing it. Ideally a pickup by Sunday evening would be the best. Thank you!
