Press release from Fort Caspar Museum: 12/16/2021 "A, B, C's of Casper History" November 21, 2020 to March 5, 2022 This exhibit, organized by the Fort Caspar Museum staff, is a fun look at some of the people, places, and things that make Casper unique using rarely-viewed objects from the Museum's own collection. "The Way They Saw Us: The Myth of the 'Wild West'" December 1, 2021 to February 25, 2022 See how the Dakotas and the West were depicted to the American public in the mid- to late-19th century by newspaper people who had never been there, leading to the myth of the "Wild West." This exhibit is on loan from the South Dakota State Historical Society. There are also two pop-up exhibits on view.
