Book Drive for Books2Prison Alabama Join YouthServe as we spend the MLK Day of Service collecting books for Books To Prisons Alabama, a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster education and self-empowerment of incarcerated individuals, with long-term goals to reduce recidivism. The organization is currently housed by Canterbury United Methodist Church. Youth may host books drives at their schools, places of worship, community centers, or just in their neighborhoods to bring this important tool to those serving our incarcerated populations.
