NASSAU COUNTY, NY — Two men were arrested in connection with the fatal overdose of a Nassau County resident earlier in December in North Massapequa, Nassau police said. Justin Ivanditto, 30, of Bay Shore, and Kendel Burnette, 29, of Amityville, were arrested after a person died of an overdose on Dec. 5, police said. Ivanditto was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. He was arraigned on Dec. 6 at First District Court in Hempstead. Burnette was charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was arraigned on Dec. 16 at First District Court in Hempstead.
