FALMOUTH, MA — Falmouth's positive coronavirus test rate is above the state average and is rising, according to the latest municipal-level data released by the Department of Public Health Thursday. Over the last two weeks, 5.52 percent of Falmouth tests were positive, which is above the statewide rate of 4.97 percent over the same period. >>MA Town-By-Town Coronavirus: 5M Vaxxed, But Positives Keep Rising The town had 178 cases in the last two weeks, or 40.8 daily cases per 100,000 residents. Both the positive rate and the case total increased from last week's report. The state also reported that Falmouth almost has 78 percent of its residents fully vaccinated, up about 1 percent from last week's report. Nearly 89 percent of residents have been at least partially vaccinated.
