Description
FAIRFAX STATION, VA — Macie was recently surrendered to a rural shelter along with her four 9-month-old kittens
"She was a good mom, but her kittens have all been adopted and she is eager to find her forever home too," Homeward Trails Animal Rescue said on its website. "She is a friendly, affectionate, and gentle cat who would enjoy a home where someone teleworks or is home much of the time."
Here's what Macie's fosters had to say about her:
"She is very social with people and loves pets and playtime. She's very chatty and likes to cuddle next to us on the bed. She is also OK playing on her own and entertaining herself, but prefers to be with people."
Anyone one who is interested in adopting Macie should contact Homeward Trails to set up an appointment.
Homeward Trails Animal Rescue adopts pets to homes in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. Anyone interested in our animals can complete an adoption questionnaire. We work with applicants to ensure a good match between them and the pet and vice versa, the adoption questionnaire is how we start the adoption discussion. Most of our animals are in foster homes in the area. Others are available to meet by appointment at our Adoption Center.
