Guitarist Seeking to Form Metal Band

Where to begin? I'm an eccentric 34 year old, world traveled, military veteran, scientist/scholar, and multi-instrumentalist/singer-songwriter. I'm definitely apprehensive about meeting new people, but looking for some similarly likeminded individuals who want to start a metal band. So, if you're interested in chatting about this concept, then please tell me a little about yourself in an email. I don't have anyone that I'm playing with at this time and despite my abilities, I'm rusty on playing live... Other than a few small intermittent shows over the years, I haven't played in a band since my early 20s. I love a variety of metal and a huge variety of music in general. I've linked below my most recent stuff that I recorded at home with only an acoustic and clever audio engineering, so it's mellow in comparison to what I'd like to accomplish in a metal band----however, you can get a pretty good feel for my sense of melody and grooves. I have a great electric guitar rig, so if you're interested then you'd also need your own pro gear.
