This describes 1979 MxCC alum Jeff Myjak's educational journey. Readers may already know him as the one to contact for donating unredeemed cans. New Scholarship Honors Memory of Former Student The MxCC Foundation established a scholarship to recognize student Miguel Jurado who passed away in a car accident last month. Business professor Sue Lugli said, "He was a very devoted VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) volunteer, helping with free tax preparation for many years. He also interned for Brown & Brown Insurance and that led him to a career with them as an accountant manager. He achieved many of his goals that he set forth when he came to MxCC." MxCC volunteers also signed up to sort and load boxes of Thanksgiving meals and distribute them to area families in need. Click here to check out our Ugly Holiday Sweater winners!
