BROOKFIELD, CT — Two drivers were sent to Danbury Hospital this week after suffering injuries in separate motor vehicle crashes, the Danbury News-Times reported.
The first crash occurred on Tuesday afternoon, when a vehicle crashed into a building at the intersection of Sandy Lane and Old Grays Bridge Road, the newspaper said.
The driver was evaluated for injuries at the hospital, the Brookfield Fire Department told the News-Times, while officials and the fire marshal evaluated the building's stability.
Then, on Wednesday night, firefighters responded to a one-car crash on Route 7 north, where the sole occupant of a vehicle required extrication, the newspaper said, and was hospitalized with injuries after they were freed.
