3 Women Charged With Burglarizing Old Navy In San Mateo

SAN MATEO, CA — Three women were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of burglarizing an Old Navy at the Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo. The suspects — 19-year-old Nyrae Burleson, 18-year-old Dejanae Sanders and 20-year-old Diizhanae Merchant — were charged with second degree burglary and conspiracy to commit crime. Burleson and Sanders are from Oakland and Merchant is an American Canyon resident. Police found Old Navy shopping bags filled with Old Navy clothing after stopping the women's car, according to a news release.
