Fruit Inc distributes and merchandises fresh fruit products to customers in partnership with premium convenience stores. We've been in business for over 15 years, growing from 25 stores to over 1500 in 11 southeast states. Our business is still growing, and we are seeking self-motivated, hardworking individuals to join our merchandising team. The merchandising representative is responsible for ensuring our clients consistently receive a premium delivery service, exceeding their expectations through delivering an exceptional customer experience and representing the Fruit Inc brand positively. What you will do: Our merchandisers are a critical part of our operations. You will work on our front line, servicing and maintaining our displays in stores. You'll be responsible for stocking the fresh fruit in the selected locations as well as cleaning and optimizing the displays. You will do well in this role if you meet the following criteria: • You have strong verbal and written communication skills. You'll work with many people, both members of our team and our clients. No amount of communication is too much. • You take ownership of your work and results. We're relying on you to own your area and take responsibility for results • You have a customer-first mindset. We exist to provide a healthy food option to people who want it. • You are dependable and enjoy working independently. • You are comfortable using smart technology and understand basic computer skills. Requirements: • Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day. • Ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly. • Must have a valid driver’s license. • Must have reliable transportation. Since this position requires the transport of large boxes of fruit, we recommend that you have an SUV, van, or hatchback. Some larger cars may be considered.
