UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA — While Pennsylvania State Police no specific threat has been made to any school in the state, several school districts have moved to online learning on Friday. Even more have beefed up security because of reports of a TikTok challenge that has encouraged students to threaten gun violence at their schools today. Among the districts that have moved to virtual are Gateway, Seneca Valley and Keystone Oaks. Districts that have heightened security or restricted visitors Friday include the Pittsburgh Public Schools, North Hills, Upper St. Clair and Plum. A TikTok tweet stated that it is working with law enforcement agencies "even though we have not found evidence of such threats originating or spreading via TikTok."
