District officials sent the safety message Thursday to address a December 17 TikTok challenge that threatened gun and bomb threats at schools throughout the United States, the message said. No specific schools were mentioned and the source of the message is unclear, per District 41. Glen Ellyn police informed the district that they had not received specific information about the reported challenge or any related threats.
