Description

I have a 6 year old mutt named Emma. She will come with the following items: •Poop bags and bag holder •Fabric foldable crate •Her treasured horse stuffy •Dog bed with two extra blankets •Treats •Dog bowl slow eater •Water bowl self refilling •Bag of dog bones •Joint supplement chewies •Leg support wraps •Brushes •Shoes •Leashes and collars •Rabies vaccine tag Some things to know about Emma: •Up to date on vaccines •Not good with small children (She could probably do okay with an older child who knows how to give a dog space but I think it's best if she's just in a home without kids) •Not good with other dogs (She can be good for small periods of times around dogs but she can quickly become snippy and irritated) •Has medical needs •Likes cats but likes to chase them •Potty trained •Good on a leash •Food driven...extremely food driven •Super lazy doesn't care for walks •Does not like to be left alone but after a while she just gives up and falls asleep. •She does not care for toys much so one or two options is good enough for her and less money you have to spend. •Does not chew on random objects unless it has food on it •She is food aggressive •Eats food fast so we use a slow eater bowl for her meals •She is afraid of weird things but you'll know when she shows it • She is a friendly runner which means she will run out of a house if she sees someone she can say hello to. But with treats she won't go very far. •She loves the beach and loves to poop in the sand •Loves car rides and sometimes barks at people but mostly ignores them. She really just wants them to pet her. •Barks at a door knock but quickly stops once she sees someone coming in. All in all she's a very sweet dog and slightly low maintenance, but she just needs to be in a home where she can be spoiled on her own. She's a jealous girl. She has her pros and cons as do any dogs, but in the end she just loves attention and food. So if someone can provide those two things she's a happy camper. Also she has a special type of howling that sounds like she's summoning something evil. But you get used to it and it's just hilarious because she only does it out of selfishness. I love this dog but I have my son to think about and she does not like him very much so I'm going to find her a better alternative. I got her from an abusive situation so I've tried to work on a lot of her fears, but as far as her snipping and being irritated too quickly I have had to come to terms with the fact that she is not in the right home. On top of that, I cannot afford the vet care she needs. I will ask for a small rehoming fee to know someone is serious about giving her a new home. Please only contact me if you are planning on giving her a home. We do not mind bringing her to someone if we have to but only in public places. We will not go to someone direct address or give out our direct address.
