Friendly, helpful people will help you find a tree and provide saw to cut down. A lot less expensive and fresher than the tree lots in Fresno/Clovis. And one of only a few Christmas Tree Farms left. They are open 10-5 tomorrow Saturday, the 18th and Sunday, the 19th. Enjoy the sunny days left this week. My daughter always remembered when we cut a tree down one year. We got our tree there.
Red Hawk Christmas Tree Farm is easy to get to. Just take Auberry Road or St Rt. 168 and go towards Auberry, when you see the old sawmill on your right and boat storage on your left, prepare to make a left on the diagonal leading to Frazier Rd. Take a left off the diagonal and go to First Road on Left which is Spreading Oak. Take Spreading Oak to end of pavement and turn left on Cottontail Lane. The parking is within 50 ft on left. Don't miss the gift shop and the rocking Santa Claus inside of it. Warm yourself by the wood fire. A wonderful place to start your Christmas season away from the hustle and bustle.
