Meet Murphy! The sweetest and most handsome three year old red heeler mix ready for new adventures! Murphy is both an excellent companion or a sporting buddy and he is looking for his forever home through no fault of his own. I am making an out of the country move that he won't be able to join me on. Handsome Murphy is a smart boy, excellent friend, and has a good temperament though he needs a home without cats or small animals. He LOVES to play. He is very athletic, great with frisbee, catch, soccer, loves to swim, run and loves his treats which makes him an excellent companion to learn more activities with. Being a heeler mix, he loves to learn new things, both mental and physical, and is happiest when doing so. His human trainer friend says he would excel in nosework, dock diving, disc dogging, barn hunt and more! He does well with the other dogs he has been with, but requires intentional and patient introductions. His besties have been a female great dane and a male dachshund mix. Once friends, the zoomies are abundant! Murphy has all the basics down and he is crate trained. He loves to show off his moves so going through commands and learning tricks is always a highlight of his day! Then at the end of the day, he is happy to chill and watch movies and cuddle up for the evening. He has experience with teenagers, but not young children so a home without kiddos is best. Murphy does have some environmental allergies which have been sorted out and he receives a shot that controls them now. These are easily maintained and work great and occur quarterly or when necessary as seasons create a difference. Murphy will join his new family with all his vet history and up to date shots and all. I am not asking for a small re-homing and I just want to find him the best place. He will come with food supply, his crate, toys and his bed. Thank you for considering this wonderful boy
