Description
It is time for registration! Sign up online and sit in your own home to learn the stitches via Zoom! Creative Crewel Embroidery is a new class being offered through Linn-Benton Community College beginning on January 24, Monday, 1:00-2:50 pm for four weeks. No experience is necessary and a minimal amount of supplies are required (embroidery hoop, thread, needle and scissors). This class will be focusing on the basic stitches of crewel embroidery, but embellishing them onto many different things, such as shirts, blue jeans, shorts, dresses, quilt blocks, pictures, pillows, etc. Embroidery is the perfect take-along craft when one has lots of waiting time. (It is allowed on planes, but remember to have a round-ended craft scissors and not a pointed one.) Pictured are some of the many samples that will be shared and discussed in class.
