Veruca is looking to hire motivated individuals to join our fast paced and rapidly growing team. Veruca is a new online platform specializing in 15 minute delivery of groceries and other essential household items. Our Operations Associates (OA) play a crucial role in the success of our business. As an OA you will be responsible for receiving customer orders, picking/packing orders, and delivering orders to customers. As an Operations Associate you have the flexibility to decide what shift type works best for you. You will need to physically be at the warehouse during your entire shift, but are only working when orders come in. The rest of the time you can study, watch tv, relax, and spend your time how you would like. Some of your duties will include: Receive and put away inventory Manage and fulfill customer orders with speed and accuracy Safely deliver orders to customers using company vehicle Ensure products meets quality requirements Use scanners to read bar codes on products Provide unparalleled customer service Maintain a clean and organized workspace You’ll also need to be able to: Lift and carry up to 49 pounds Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts Feel comfortable/confident in driving a delivery van or golf carts on neighborhood roads. Added bonus if you have a CDL Have a valid driver's license, clean DMV record, and pass a background check Have the ability to work quickly and accurately Feel comfortable living/working out of microwarehouses ranging from homes to RV trailers. Perks: Flexible shifts of 4, 9 or 24 hours Kelly schedule: Consists of a 9-day cycle where each team works one 24-hour shift, followed by 24 hours off duty, works another 24-hour shift, followed by 24 hours off duty, then works a final 24-hour shift, followed by 4 consecutive days off duty. During your 24-hour shift you are only working from 6:00am - 12:00am, you then have 6 hours completely off. Employee discounts Use of company vehicle
