Meet Tucker and Maggie, they are Havanese pups and have been together most of their lives. They have had two litters of puppies together and retired several years ago. That is when they went to live with my dad. My dad passed away at the end of August unexpectedly and I brought Tucker and Maggie home to live with me. I have a Schnauzer and it sadly isn’t working out with the three of them. The vet says that Tucker is used to being the dominant dog and he wasn’t very positive about their relationship getting better and right now my Schnauzer is living apart from me. I say all of this to say that it is with my heaviest heart that I am looking to find a forever home for Tucker and Maggie. A little about them: They are full Havanese breed (which is a very expensive breed), Havanese are hypo-allergenic and therefore do not shed. Tucker is 9 and Maggie is 10. They are playful and very good dogs but need to be the only 4 legged pets in the house. I don't know that they would enjoy being around small children either (but I do not know this for sure). My dad was retired and stayed home most all the time and Tucker would sit on his lap whenever he was sitting. I do not spend a whole lot of time at home and when I am home, I am generally not sitting down. It would be ideal to find someone that stays home or is retired to take them. I do not want any money for them, I just want them to go to a good home. They come with their beds and blanket, harness and leashes for walking, food bowls, some food and some treats. I took them to the vet and had heart worm tests done, rabies shot given, and they have a clean bill of health. They cannot be separated, that was the promise he made to their original owners and a promise I have made to myself. I am praying for the right person to give them a loving and forever home.
