$25/HR - FULL-TIME HANDYMAN - HIRING NOW Hello and thank you for taking time to review the full-time handyman position. We are seeking a full-time handyman to work in apartment buildings we manage in the San Fernando Valley and West Los Angeles neighborhoods. We have been in business for over 50 years. Employment Type • Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday; overtime available and encouraged Compensation • Salary to $25.00 per hour with room to grow depending on experience. Experience Necessary • Carpentry work • Troubleshoot and plumbing repairs • Safety and security systems (lighting, locks, smoke/CO2 alarms, etc) • Electrical experience (GFI replacement, ceiling fan install, light fixture install, etc) • Installing fixtures including doorknobs, handles, mirrors, toilets, doors, etc • Attention to detail and high regard for quality • Follows safety practices, policies, and procedures • Inspect work of others for quality, completion, safety and compliance • Disclosure: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice Requirements • Proven experience as a handyman, including skills with tools • Valid CA Driver’s license, good driving record and automobile insurance • Must provide their own vehicle • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID19 and wear masks at all times onsite • Must be available for emergencies, will pay overtime Physical Requirements • Ability to lift, pull, push 50 pounds, bending, standing and/or walking for long periods Interview Process • There will be a short skills test to determine skills aptitude and ability which we will pay $25/hr for your time
