*Must Be Willing To Work Weekends (Overtime) If Needed* We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor eager for an opportunity to apply knowledge and experience in production management to a growing nutritional supplement company on Long Island. As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safety, quality, productivity, and compliance of all production workers in the manufacturing plant. You will oversee all manufacturing plant operations, monitor workflow, evaluate performance, recognize and report deficiencies, organize and ensure daily production quantities and goals are met. A successful Production Supervisor has the ability to organize, plan, and implement processes to increase efficiency and productivity in the workplace. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee all manufacturing plant operations • Ensure daily production quantities and goals are met • Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance • Create, Revise, and Update written procedures such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), cleaning and safety procedures, operating instructions, and all other related procedures accordingly. • Direct and coordinate daily operations in the manufacturing plant • Ensure company policies and procedures (SOPs) are followed at all times • Monitor employee performance and skill development, conduct performance evaluations, and administer disciplinary action (Write-Up, Probation, Termination) when necessary • Organize meetings to discuss production schedules, goals, performance metrics, issues/conflicts, coach staff on roles and responsibilities, and create a space for open communication. • Maintain effective communication with all departments • Implement current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and safety practices in the operations and manufacturing of products • Train employees on company procedures, systems, policies, and practices to ensure FDA and cGMP Compliance, establish performance standards, and set productivity targets. QUALIFICATIONS • Must Be Fluent in English and Spanish • Previous Experience Working/Managing Production • Previous Experience Managing 20-50 Employees • Associates degree or higher (Preferred) • Strong Troubleshooting and Critical Thinking Skills • Excellent Interpersonal Skills; Ability to Speak Publicly • Outstanding Written and Verbal Communication Skills • cGMP Knowledge & Understanding (Strongly Desired) • Must Be Willing To Work Weekends (Overtime) If Needed JOB TYPE: Full-time PAY: Negotiable Based on Experience WORK LOCATION: Hauppauge Area *PLEASE ATTACH CV/RESUME*
