COMPOUNDING ASSOCIATE We are seeking a Compounding Associate, eager for an opportunity to develop skills and experience working in a manufacturing plant for a growing nutritional supplement company on Long Island. No experience needed! As Compounding Associate, you will be responsible for locating materials in our warehouse, transporting/carrying materials to and from production areas, weighing and preparing ingredients for production, logging and recording batch information, and mixing ingredients. Duties may also include helping on the production line and assisting in sanitation and maintenance of equipment as needed. A successful Compounding Associate is good with mathematical equations and conversions, meticulous, and can log/record batch record information accurately and efficiently. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Locate and transport materials from warehouse to production area as needed • Weigh and Compound Raw Materials; Log and Document true weighs, lot numbers, and any variation made during such duties accurately • Maintain an accurate inventory of raw materials used in weigh outs • Ensure batch records are completely and accurately filled out using standard documentation practices and procedures • Conduct thorough routine cleaning of machines, equipment, and blenders in between product batches and as needed • Review and apply company policies and Standard Operating Procedures for weighing and compounding raw materials • Comply with current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). QUALIFICATIONS • Experience Maneuvering a Forklift (Preferred) • Must Be Willing to Work with Powders • Must Be Able to Lift 30-50lbs • Ability to Read, Follow Instructions, and Fill Out Logs and Records • Good With Mathematical Calculations and Conversions • Fluent in Written and Verbal English (Bilingual Spanish Strongly Preferred) JOB TYPE: Full-time PAY: Negotiated Based on Experience WORK LOCATION: Hauppauge Area
