Register NOW for the 18th Annual Krispy Kreme Challenge!!! This years race will be IN PERSON with an available Virtual option. For those who don't know, the K2Challenge is a 5 miles charity event put on by NC State Students raising money for the UNC Children's Hospital. You start at the NC State Memorial Bell Tower, run 2.5 miles to the Krispy Kreme in downtown Raleigh (N Person Street), eat 1 dozen doughnuts, then run 2.5 miles back to the Bell Tower all in under an hour! There are 3 options to run: 1) Challenger - must eat all 12 doughnuts, must complete in under an hour 2) Casual - no time limit, do NOT have to eat all 12 doughnuts 3) No Doughnut - no time limit, you will NOT receive any doughnuts We are NC State's #1 Student Tradition, we have been featured on ESPN as 'Top 102 Things To Do Before You Graduate College' and we are currently the UNC Children's Hospital's largest unrestricted donor! We have pledged to donate $2.0M to the Hospital by 2022 Race Day and to date, we have donated about $1.9M! We have set our organization's goals for this season to have 4,000 runners registered, and donate the final $100,000 to the Hospital on Race Dat to fulfill our pledge! The K2Challenge will take place Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 8am! The Race Expo will be the day before, Friday, Feb 4, 2022 in Talley Student Union.
