REHOMING 7 Month Puppy

Description
It is with heavy heart to say it, but we need to rehome our 7 month old Great Pyrenees/Labrador mix. His name is Dunkin and he is the most energetic goofball you will ever meet! We adopted him at 10 weeks old and he grew up alongside our two other dogs, an 11 year old female Chug and 9 year old female Jack Russell. He has been very socialized and playful with these two up until recently and we really do not know what started it, but cannot allow a repeat. He has been herding the Chug into corners of the house and they have suddenly butted heads, then he attacked her and she is now injured. He has also recently gotten food aggressive with the two (please take note he is NOT food aggressive with humans we made sure to play with his food as a puppy). I am just afraid of us not being home if it happens again as there's a massive size difference between them. Dunkin weighs approximately 46lbs, is crate broken, house broken and knows how to sit, shake, lay down and wait (I use hand commands). He is leash and harness trained and we do occasionally loose leash walk him when there are not a lot of people around. He is not fixed. He gets very car sick so car rides are really not advised unless you want to clean up puke! He loves to chew on things so an assortment of chewer toys and exercise are strongly suggested. He has grown up around our neighbor's kids and loves to snuggle up to them. I do not know how he is with cats, he has been well with small dogs, but we really feel he may need to go to a home with bigger dogs or NO dogs and have plenty of exercise. Dunkin is up to date on shots, he received his rabies shot on 11/29/21 at Kreature Komforts and I personally gave him his kennel cough and 9 way on 10/26/21, these were purchased at Big R in Fernley. I have vet records from his Puppy 1 and Puppy 2 visit and would also like to note that he has an overbite that has been seen by two different vets and does NOT interfere with his health or eating. He will come with his inside dog crate (it's very big and won't fit in a car so you need a truck or SUV) that he sleeps in at night, a car seat cover we use when transporting him, his favorite toys and his favorite puppy snacks for training; as well as his harness, leash and rabies vaccination paper. He is also microchipped so you will need to register him in your name with your vet or through found.org (easier and faster in my opinion) I will require a meet and greet prior to rehoming. There is a rehoming fee. We really want to make sure he goes to a great home with someone who takes his care seriously and will love him as much as we do, if not more. If you have any questions please let us know.
