Old Man Band Looking for Lead Vocalist

Old Man Band cover band (start-up) is looking for a new lead vocalist. Our focus is on mid-60s to mid-80s rock with more emphasis on the earlier period. Targeted venues are the many breweries and wineries around this area, but not necessarily the bars. We will be playing for our own enjoyment, please consider that if you are looking for paying gigs. We practice in the Gainesville area one evening a week in my basement studio just off of I-66. We ask that you consider the commute, traffic is heavy in this area. We record our practices to gauge progress, and will do our own demos. We have plans for an on-line video presence as well. Currently, we have a short working setlist as well as a longer planned list of songs to do. You would contribute your favorites into that list as well so that everyone gets something they like. You do not need to be an experienced front-person or formally trained, but you will need to be experienced at singing (choir, open mic, karaoke, etc.) and if you play an instrument that could be even better..... We range in age from the 60s to mid 70s, we are all in excellent health and fully vaccinated. While we respect your right to choose, we choose to limit participation to only fully vaccinated, non-smoking players.
