Just asking for a little kindness this holiday season!!!

Recently my bf lost his job and I was kicked out of my shelter here in Salem due to us both contracting covid-19 the week of Thanksgiving. 2 days out of quarantine I found myself having to pack up and move out of my room at the shelter still sick as a dog and my bf ended up sleeping in the back of his truck, because when he lost his job as a truck driver, he lost his place to stay as well. We were not prepared at all for Covid, but good news is we lived through it and I can't help but be thankful for that. But times are so hard right now and we are just feeling so discouraged and depressed and we are just trying so hard to just get through the holidays in the unfortunate situation we are in. I called the county for any kind of relief funds for covid and all of the funding that would normally be available to those who have gotten covid has been suspended for whatever reason, I'm not really sure why. So after spending the last couple of days contacting 211, churches and a number of non profits in the area and getting absolutely no help at all, I find myself here.... I'm desperate here, and if I need to reach out to strangers for a little bit of kindness and compassion during this difficult time of year, that's what I will do. So, please... If you know of any type of resources that you could pass along to maybe help us get through all of this right now I would most definitely be so thankful for the help...
