We are searching for a motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate. This key role is responsible for the organization, delivery and control of materials in our warehouse. This is including but not limited to warehouse safety, maintenance, and other duties as required to properly maintain and operate the functions of the warehouse. This role must be able to work as part of a team and under the supervision of the team lead. Candidates should have an aptitude for doing hands on work and have the ability to follow direction, as well as work safely. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Completes shipments by processing and loading orders. • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. • Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors. • Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs. • Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests. • Provides quality service by following organization standards. • Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat. • Promotes clean shipping supply are by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Completes reports by entering required information. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Ensures that all company safety procedures are followed to include proper use of safety equipment. • Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return. • Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering and exiting the warehouse. • Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor. • Ensuring that all merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping. • Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination. • Responsible for maintaining all tools, vehicles and equipment normally assigned to this job. • Prioritize work to maximize time efficiency. • Must be able to learn how to safely operate a fork truck. Physical Requirements: • Must undergo a pre-employment screening process which includes a background check and drug screening. • Must be in good physical condition. Able to lift up to 75lbs repeatedly throughout the day. • Ability to work independently and safely. • Must be willing to travel within market.
