The North Santiam Watershed Council (NSWC) is hosting a free natural resource recovery workshop for landowners who were impacted by the 2020 wildfires as part of the Marion Soil & Water Conservation District’s Plan For Your Land (PFYL) series. The course will provide landowners with information and resources on the following restoration topics: Site PreparationReestablishing Native VegetationRecommendations for Native Plant Species Preventing Erosion Controlling Invasive SpeciesCreating a Planting PlanFireWise/ Creating Defensible SpaceThe course will be held on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 at the Foothills Church (975 Fern Ridge Rd SE, Stayton, OR 97383) from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
