Empowered Communication: Evidence Based Ethical Interaction
The way we communicate with our clients can oftentimes be more powerful than the massage we provide. A client who doesn’t feel safe, at ease, and cared for won’t be able to experience and internalize the full potential of your work. This communication begins with the first glimpse of marketing material, the initial answering of a phone call or stumbling on to your website. Whether you are providing ultimate relaxation or a therapeutic intervention, how we choose to communicate with our clients will either enhance or diminish the desired outcome.

ABOUT THE EDUCATOR: Justin Kobbe Solace has been a massage therapist for 13 years, a massage educator for 10, strength trainer for 8 and holds a master’s degree in Kinesiology. He was the program chair of massage therapy at Broadview University Boise from 2011-2014 where he was awarded Faculty of the Year. He has studied with many of the great massage educators of our time and continues to teach across the country alongside his mentor Whitney Lowe.
After over a decade of study Justin has realized that many massage workshops teaching therapeutic techniques are not easily integrated into practice. The goals of his seminars are to teach clinical reasoning and technique in a way that all therapists can begin using in their practice the next day.
