Training for LOCAL high school leaders who will help train 6th, 7th and 8th graders at Tolt Middle School. This is a training for high school students who wish to help lead the How to Help a Friend in person training at the Tolt Middle School. How to Help a Friend is a peer to peer suicide prevention training. This training requires committing to all three training dates (Jan. 4 and Jan. 11 for those that were unable to attend December 14th you must be at both of these trainings; with all 6-8pm) and being available during the school day to present to students at Tolt Middle School January 13th. The Empower Youth Network inspires and promotes youth to lead safe, healthy, and successful lives. Healthy youth and families are a priority for the Empower Youth Network, and youth suicide and substance abuse prevention are two of our highest priorities.
