Custodian: Industrial cleaning of warehouse/machine shop EMI is seeking a motivated, individual who will be responsible for keeping the machine shop (industrial plant) clean and organized. The individual will be expected to work independently, with little supervision and understand what needs to be accomplished. Preferred hours 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM but could be flexible. Duties include but not limited to: • Specific duties include daily routine custodial work (trash removal, cleaning machines and around machines, sweeping, and washing floors etc.); and other duties as required. • Lifting and moving skids • Maintains outside the building appearance by picking up trash and papers when necessary • Maintains safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations • Maintain and monitor all machine for fluids and lubricants when necessary • Assist other employees when requested for various duties QUALIFICATIONS: • Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach. • Physical strength sufficient to perform job duties, including climbing ladders • Some custodial/maintenance experience preferred. • Ability to assist in keeping the facility clean and orderly. • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions About EMI – Evans Machine Co., Inc.
