Tecomet, Inc. Warehouse Associate FULL-TIME $17/hr 115 Eames St, Wilmington, MA 01887 The Material Associate will ship, receive, unpack, verify, and store raw materials. Issue raw material to job routers and deliver to appropriate work areas. Maintain movement of subcontract production parts returning from vendors. Essential duties: - Receiving delivery of UPS, Fed-Ex, and other transportation carriers by unloading trucks, opening boxes, matching papers to purchase orders, and documenting receipt in computer. - Performing weekly cycle-counting to ensure material counts are correct. - Pulling and issuing raw material to specific job routers and delivering to the specific manufacturing locations. - Coordinating jobs at the outside process and trackback using Excel and ERP - Tracking intercompany jobs, processes, send and receive jobs via a carrier and in Excel - Delivering received items to specific areas or people within the manufacturing plant. - May be relied upon to operate company van to make local delivery of materials/parts. - Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by the supervisor/manager as deemed appropriate. - Performing a variety of shipping duties including packaging/bagging/boxing items for shipment, calling for transportation, loading-trucks, logging shipment and, calling ordering personnel, logging receipts, checking papers, etc. in accordance with company/customer specifications, following prescribed methods. - Maintaining work area and equipment in clean, safe, and orderly condition. - Assisting Production Control in tracking jobs on the manufacturing floor.
