Ex-Band guy looking for new band/project

Hi, My name is Ray. I used to play a ton of shows years ago all around BK, if you were in BK 5-10 years ago when Big Snow, Silent Barn, Shea Stadium and other DIY spaces were popular and saw any of the bands Le Rug, Sweet Bulbs, Red Dwarf or BTC then you likely saw me perform at some point. I think I played some 50 shows at Shea Stadium between different bands. I stopped playing shows maybe a year before a close friend who played with me died unexpectedly, and only now about 4-5 years later I've decided it would be fun to play music again. I'm no longer friends with many of the people I played music with after spending those years basically being a hermit and starting a small company - so I'm here on craigslist soliciting strangers to be in a band with. I play every instrument, though am most competent (15-25 yrs experience) at guitar/bass/drums and synthesis/production. I don't really want to be the main person writing music as I've normally had that role in other bands and would prefer to work on someone else's material. Not opposed to contributing creatively, just don't want to be solely responsible for songwriting duties. Can also do things like program drum machines, samplers, trackers along with other electronic instruments. I tend to lean toward proto/post-punk and no wave in my personal tastes. Also a huge fan of Italo Disco. Favorite bands are The Fall, Beefheart, No Trend, Big Country (kind of random I know) and The Contortions.
