Beat the winter blues with 5 FREE opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of Nantucket with island science and education organizations! All walks start at 1PM. Nantucket Land Council, protecting and preserving Nantucket's water resources since 1974. Planning ~ Protecting ~ Preserving The NLC is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit dedicated to protecting Nantucket’s natural world and rural character by holding and enforcing conservation restrictions, commissioning scientific research, monitoring development proposals, engaging in legal proceedings to protect natural resources, and educating the public on local environmental issues.
