We all know how much Don likes hats.... So start thinking about which hat you'll wear to the party! Enjoy a night of celebration. Food, drinks, dance & song. Attire: As you might know, Don has a lifelong fondness for hats so please wear your favorite hat. Feel free to dress up to match your hat. Accommodations: Best bets are 1) Kinsley Hotel and 2) Best Western Plus Kingston. We have a discount available for each – just mention the name Tallerman when making a reservation. Kinsley is a boutique hotel and rooms are easy walking distance from the venue. Best Western is ½ mile away. There are also B&Bs and Airbnb's in the area. Suggestion is to be walking distance to “Uptown Kingston”. Out of Town Guests: For friends & family from out of town, we will be hosting: 1) Pre-party (day before) cocktails, coffee & desert at our home at 104 Fair Street. Friday, February 11th, 8pm-10:00 2) Post-party bagel brunch at our home at 104 Fair Street. Sunday February 13th, 10am -12:00 Gifts: Gifts are entirely unnecessary. But if you wish to give something anyway, we welcome contributions to our scholarship fund for Kingston High School seniors. The idea is to identify a student each year that shows promise as an entrepreneur and to help by providing funding and mentoring. Make checks payable to: “Don & Judy Tallerman Kingston High School Scholarship Fund”. Surprise: This is NOT a surprise party. Don has been planning it for at least 10 years. Parking: You can usually find parking on the street. Otherwise, there is a public parking lot down the hill at the corner of “Fair Street Extension” and “Schwenk Drive”. Coat Check: We have a self-serve coat check room as you walk in to Senate Garage. Covid precautions: Per state mandate, proof of vaccination is required. For the party at Senate Garage Saturday night, we will ask that you show proof of vaccination. Mask wearing is optional. Snow: February 12th often has snow, so maybe plan to travel early – give yourself some extra time. And dress warmly.
