Maintenance Technician, Manchester NH SIGN ON BONUSES - $500.00 initial sign on bonus with $1000.00 bonus after 6 months of full time employment and as set out in your Offer Letter. Property Management Company is seeking a motivated, self-starting individual to join our team of maintenance professionals in Manchester area. We support a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties in New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts. This is a full-time position that offers paid sick and vacation time (begins to accrue immediately), holiday pay, 401k plan, medical and dental benefits, FSA, and life insurance. Your portfolio will be primarily commercial property maintenance. The technician works with a property maintenance team under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor to complete maintenance tasks/work orders for an assigned portfolio in a timely manner and consistent with company standards. EDUCATION: A high school education or equivalent is required (college hours preferred). • Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a basic set of your own tools. • Must be able to work overtime in emergency situations. • Must be available for night/weekend on call duty (rotates among the team). The primary job responsibilities include: a) plumbing repairs b) repair/replace door hardware/locks, smoke alarms c) repair/replace window screens d) appliance repair and installation e) electrical repairs f) roofing inspection/minor roof repair g) HVAC troubleshooting and filter change h) minor drywall and carpentry repair i) painting j) cleaning/grounds maintenance k) other tasks as needed to maintain property appearance Previous knowledge and experience performing these tasks is preferred. Starting pay commensurate to experience. Paid sick and vacation time (begins to accrue immediately), holiday pay, 401k plan, medical and dental benefits, FSA, and life insurance. Background check is required. In addition to the skills listed above, the Maintenance Technician will be required to comply with all OSHA regulations and any applicable laws in your area regarding health, safety, or environment.
