Central City Swing is presenting a free outdoor Christmas jazz concert. Central City Swing, the central coast's premier 17-piece big band, is back! And to put you in the right seasonal mood we're presenting a free outdoor Christmas concert! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Saturday, December 18th, 12:00 (noon) PM 600 Redondo Ct., Grover Beach - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Join us as "CCS" plays swing and jazz versions of your favorite Christmas carols and holiday tunes. Invite your friends and be sure to come early. Hope to see you there! NOTE: This concert is outdoors, in a cul de sac. Street parking may require additional walking to the venue. The band’s personnel are made up of professional and semi-professional musicians from the Central Coast. The purpose of the ensemble is to provide local musicians the opportunity to gather and perform challenging big band material. The group rehearses weekly Tuesday nights, 7:30pm, at Unity Chapel of Light, 1165 Stubblefield Road, Orcutt, CA. Typically concerts, free with voluntary donation at the door, occur 4 times a year, also at Unity Chapel of Light.
