IDEA Public Schools is a growing, tuition-free public charter network serving 53,000 students in 96 schools in Austin, San Antonio, the Rio Grande Valley, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Tarrant County, and El Paso. In 2019, IDEA will be opening schools in Permian Basin and Houston and is offering fellowships for individuals who wish to be founding teachers in the new regions.
