Join us on 5th Feb. 2022 for The Launch of “Displaced- The Journey Home,” by Tami Shaikh A book that asks the question, “Where is Home?” Displaced- The Journey Home is a book that investigates the refugee crisis through interviews with refugees, volunteers, rescue team workers, a human trafficker, and many others involved in this crisis. My travels took me to refugee camps in Chios, Greece; at the Pak-Afghan border, I met refugees living in camps for over 40 years; I interviewed refugees from Tibet and Bhutan in Nepal. I also spoke with many people locally here in Southern California.
