Space is limited to 15 people. Volunteer Weekend Space is limited to 15 people. Kick off your 2022 oceanside, with dirty hands and knees, sunshine (we hope) on our shoulders, smiles on our faces and raptors above us hunting the green hillsides. Help our Rangers improve our wetland site by sowing seeds, pounding willow stakes, and planting wetland plants. Bring plenty of drinking water and snacks as needed. Light refreshments will be provided. Regarding Covid-19: If you feel sick or if you have recently been exposed to anyone with a positive diagnosis, please stay home. Registration is required as we are limiting the number of participants. Volunteers will meet our staff at the Gateway to Jenner Headlands parking lot off Highway 1. Suggested Items to Bring Drinking waterWeather-appropriate clothing (e.g. close-toed shoes, layers, wind breaker)Work glovesSun protectionSnack or lunch The Jenner Headlands and Estero Americano Coast Preserves are owned and managed by The Wildlands Conservancy (TWC). The Preserves are protected forever as open space by a conservation easement held by the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District. The Jenner Headlands Preserve is open to the public seven days a week, 8am to sunset, and free of charge.  Please consider making a donation to The Wildlands Conservancy when registering for your hike so that we can continue to offer free public access to the Sonoma Coast for everyone.
