The No More Broken Hearts Gun Violence Prevention Youth Summit is an educational and motivational youth gathering. The No More Broken Hearts Gun Violence Prevention Youth Summit is an educational and motivational youth gathering organized by the National Homicide Justice Alliance. The event is sponsored by the Philadelphia Office of Gun Violence Prevention. Philadelphia Gun Violence Prevention Activists will present workshops to empower youth and help them to identify resources for positive options. The goal is to become empowered and supported to make good decisions and prevent gun violence. By collaborating with our other GVP partners in the city, we hope to increase awareness of the gun violence epidemic and knowledge about various resources and solutions. We project that this experience will increase community efforts towards creating safer neighborhoods and addressing trauma.
