Dunedin Parks & Recreation is DUNEDIN, FL - Dunedin Parks & Rec has announced the return of its senior trips for ages 40 and up. All trips depart/return from the Hale Senior Activity Center, 330 Douglas Ave., and will be in a motor coach bus. Take a look at the trips below and sign up today - space will fill up fast. Early Bird Dinner Theatre: "Boeing Boeing" Thursday, Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The cost is $59/person and preregistration is due by Monday, Jan. 3. Parisian Lothario Bernard has Italian, German and American fiancées, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent "layovers." He keeps "one up, own down and one pending" until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris and Bernard's apartment at the same time. The price of the trip includes transportation, show, buffet, salad bar and desserts, plus coffee, tea and gratuity. Tampa Bay Downs Wednesday, Feb. 23 from 10:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. The cost is $48/person. Register by Friday, Jan. 21. The price of the trip includes transportation, admission, club seating, racing program, buffet lunch including the freshest locally sourced carved meats, salads, original chef selections, dessert, coffee, iced tea and water. Tampa Bay History Center Tuesday, March 22 9:00 am - 3:30 pm $32/person (must pre-register by Tuesday, Feb 22) Lunch is on your own at the Columbia Immerse yourself in history and culture with a 2-hour guided tour linking modern culture with cigar factories, sports legends, railroad tycoons, cattle drivers, pioneers, Spanish conquistadors and Florida's first native inhabitants. Then enjoy lunch at Columbia, Florida's oldest and the largest Spanish restaurant in the world. Price of trip includes transportation, History Center admission and tour guide. Port of Tampa Wednesday, April 6 7:15 am - 1:15 pm $23/person (must pre-register by Monday, Mar. 7) Lunch is on your own at the Cracker Barrel Hop aboard the beautiful catamaran for a fun and educational harbor tour to see the dynamic working Port of Tampa.
