MERRICK, NY — Students looking to take makeup into a career can learn some of the skills needed at a Cosmetology Expo. It is scheduled for Fri., Dec. 17 at Calhoun High School. Prospective and current cosmetology students will observe or receive treatments from various beauty stations, including hair, nail and eyelash services. The event is also good for instructors in the field, and salon and beauty professionals. The expo is planned from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
