STRATFORD, CT — Stratford Public Schools said Thursday there is "no credibility of immediate threat" to district buildings after messages posted on TikTok threatened schools nationwide. In a message sent to district families, superintendent Dr. Uyi Osunde said administrators will "remain in close contact" with law enforcement. "While I do not anticipate new information overnight, if anything of concern does emerge you are encouraged to contact our police department with the specific concern," Osunde said. The threats posted on social media spoke of violence at schools across the U.S. on December 17.
