Press release from the City of Rockville: December 16, 2021 Rockville, Maryland, Dec. 16 – City Hall and city facilities will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Friday, Dec. 24 and Saturday, Dec. 25, and on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, Friday, Dec. 31 and Saturday, Jan. 1. The Rockville Senior Center; Croydon Creek Nature Center; Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers; Glenview Mansion; the Rockville Civic Center business office; and the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre box office will be closed. Theater tickets are always available at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatre.  The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will be open with limited services and activities on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 and will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. Visit www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter for details. Recycling and trash are not collected on Fridays or Saturdays. Collections will occur as usual during these holiday weeks.
