Press release from the City of San Clemente: 12/15/2021 4:19 PM WHAT: Unplanned Metrolink Railroad Maintenance Work WHERE: Along railroad tracks between Avenida Vista De Oceano and Calle Ariana in San Clemente WHEN: Evenings beginning tonight, Wednesday, Dec. 15 through Wednesday, Dec. 22, between 12 and 5 a.m. daily MORE INFORMATION: In response to the recent rains and to keep trains safe and reliable, Metrolink crews will be completing track maintenance work starting tonight. Crews will be placing additional rock along the right-of-way to ensure a safe railroad. During this track maintenance work, we anticipate the following impacts: Noise from equipment backup alarms and heavy machinery Noise, vibration and dust from construction machinery and activities Lights from light towers and/or on-track equipment Metrolink's highest priority is safety.
