HOBOKEN, NJ — Despite rumors making the rounds on Tiktok and other social media about threats to schools tomorrow, no "credible threat" has been received in Hoboken, the police said Thursday, using language used by other law enforcement officials in response.
However, the police said, they'll beef up patrols:
(1/2) The Hoboken Police Department is aware of threats being made on social media sites, in particular, TikTok and Snapchat, warning of nationwide school shootings on Friday, December 17th. There is no credible threat at this time to Hoboken or any of our schools.— Hoboken Police (@HobokenPD) December 16, 2021
