WEST CHESTER, PA — A Chester County man was convicted recently of sexually abusing his girlfriend's teenage autistic daughter, the District Attorney's Office announced. Roy Eller, 57, of Oxford, was found guilty of sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, and related counts. Sentencing is forthcoming. "The horror of what this child endured while her mother's boyfriend sexually abused her is inconceivable," District Attorney Deb Ryan said in a statement. "It's all the more tragic because there was no responsible adult in that house to whom she could turn for help. I hope this guilty verdict will allow the victim to begin moving forward with her life." The investigation began back in April 2019, when the then 16-year-old victim told police that Eller had forced her to have sex with him. The teenage girl's mother knew about the abuse and "wanted her to have a baby" with the 57-year-old man, the DA said. The mother told the court that she saw the assaults but blamed her daughter for it, according to authorities. She eventually pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child in Nov. 2021.
