The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is offering Low-interest federal loans for Disaster-related Damages from the Remnants of Hurricane Ida.
For businesses/homeowners, mitigation is available up to 20% of SBA's verified physical damage amount. Business Physical Disaster Loans, Economic Injury Disaster Loans, and Home Disaster Loans are available.
First step: Register with FEMA at DisasterAssistance.gov; download the FEMA Mobile app, or call 800-621-3362 or visit in-person at the nearest Disaster Recovery Center (DRS). To find a DRC visit fema.gov/DRC
Second step: Apply with SBA at any local disaster center in person and receive one-on-one assistance from an SBA representative (see link above).
