WOODBURY, MN — There are "no credible threats" against South Washington County Schools, district officials said Thursday after a TikTok challenge inspired threats of violence against schools across the U.S. High schools in Stillwater and Maple Grove, among others, were recently targeted by online threats of violence. SoWashCo administrators said Thursday that the recent threats "appear to have started as a national trend" on social media, primarily TikTok. Many of the online posts threatened violence in schools Friday, officials said.
